With a cool breeze from the ether Voidscream comes back with his fresh release "Simic" on Maykkurnadur Records. On this four track EP he presents mystical sounds interwoven with his typical sound and adapted to modern requirements for modern state of the art dark psytrance sound. In Voidscream style pumping basses meet influences from other genres and always offer first class sound design and aggressive lead sounds. So the release Simic starts with the more dignified and groovy track "Aether Mutation", which already announces that you can expect a grown number of wild mutations on this EP after all. After that, with "Biomathematician" the BPM screw is already screwed a little higher and dashes forward with a straight modern darkpsy song. In this, the wild calculations of organic and artificial behavior can be made out in the vortex of humanity to critically reflect on their own actions and thus question the presented on a meta level. With "Hydroform" the speed is kept and set on more atmospheric aspects of the typical Voidscream sound, without renouncing to through modulated psychedelic sounds in the foreground. Finally, with "Neoform" Voidscream has delivered a critical commentary on today's political situation in Europe while combining wild IDM percussion with psychedelic leads and pumping bass. No contradiction, but simply sophisticated and intelligent dance music, which is not only aimed at the dance floor, but also subversively stimulates the intellect. In the overall package, the listener gets with the Simic EP above all 100% pure Voidscream power, so come into the jungle, listen to the chants of mystical vocals and relax dancing in the ancient ziggurat.
